While there are plenty of quality books amongst the schlock, only the best of the best get the Dino Dad Stomp of Approval! This award goes not to anything that I consider simply acceptable, but which I consider absolute must-haves for all lovers of prehistoric paraphernalia. It’s important to note that I may still recommend a book, and maybe even consider it essential reading, without necessarily giving it the Stomp of Approval.
While many factors go into this designation, scientific accuracy captures my attention most, and most books in this category will likely skew in a more educational direction. However, certain books may still win the day based on strength of prose alone, so you never know what may win out!
